Residents, fellows and other clinicians in training (e.g., nurses, mid-levels, and allied health professionals) who are interested in an introduction to medical simulation can attend our four-week elective in simulation education. Through didactic sessions, experiential learning, and a mentored curriculum development and delivery project, our participants receive a strong introduction to this important educational modality.
This short-term exposure enables learners to become familiar with medical simulation as a learning and assessment tool, enabling them to assess if they would like to pursue simulation as a component of their career.
