Lung and Chest Diseases and Conditions

The Lung Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (among the top ranked in the country by U.S. News & World Report) provides specialized, comprehensive care for a range of lung conditions—from congenital lung diseases such as cystic fibrosis, to breathing issues like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), to respiratory failure and complex lung and chest cancers.

At BWH, patients receive diagnostic care and treatment that is both broad-reaching and individualized. Patient care is provided by board-certified thoracic surgeons and pulmonologists working closely together and with a multidisciplinary team of sub-specialists. Together they develop specialized care for specific diseases, a focused and all-inclusive approach that meets every need of every patient.
